May I have a mid-life crisis?

Or just a bad mental health day?

I once took a nine billion page test that covered every aspect of my life and the lives of my ancestors. It said I would live to be ninety-two. If this is true, I am at the mid-point and I'd like to have a mid-life crisis now, please.

I want to get a tattoo.

Or a sports car.

Plastic surgery? A new career?

Something pierced?

A younger lo....hmm..nevermind.

I don't want to live to be 92. Really. Who could afford it?

My Mom is 90 and someone asked her "who would want to live to be 90?"I was pleased to hear her answer "..someone who's 89."

She's got a good attitude!

Tattoos are overrated. I have one that I got when I was 21. It hurt worse than child birth. My brother-in-law does tattoos and has offered to give me another one if I want. I'm just a wuss when it comes to pain, so I've passed for now.

A sports car would be nice. My sister-in-law just bought a convertible mustang. I sat in it and could even invision Jackson in his car seat in the back. Kind of like Christie Brinkley in the National Lampoon movies. LOL

I wouldn't do plastic surgery. Again the low tolerance for pain. A new career maybe.

Now I've been pierced in a few places and those were a lot of fun!

Wouldn't take a younger lo...never mind, since I can't imagine getting nekkid with anyone other than Jimmy. LOL

I'm not looking forward to being even 70 let alone 92.

I think you should do what makes you happy. Get a tattoo, pierced (I can tell you what it's like. LOL) or buy a sports car. Make sure it's a convertible. Those are the most fun!

Either way, I hope you get over your mental health day. We all have them. I think I'll be having one and hiding it today.

Havea great day, JanetLee. Jay loves the pics of Thor.

Kaytee - I wouldn't do a tattoo either for the same reason - I'm the biggest whiney baby on the planet. No piercings - I don't wear jewelry at all. Younger lov..well I kinda already got one of those. Sports car - too low to the ground, I'd never haul my behind up out of it with my bum knees. Can't afford plastic surgery. That pretty much just leaves being happy with what I got and that's a lot.

perhaps: you should give yourself the gift of a professional massage once a week. Try Urban Nirvana's Whiplash.
1 hour $85
This is an intensive treatment for the neck and back. Let us turn the problem areas into mush. We begin with a paraffin back treatment, next up a hair and scalp massage followed by kneading, stretching and acupressing those royal pains away.

It's really, really good.

Each time that I thought I was having a mid-life crisis (that I ought not to have), I found out later that each had been a false alarm. A scary thought: if today's 50 is the new 30, does that mean I've got more of this to go through yet?
